What is the Pan Turk agenda of President Ahmadinejad?

The Shah regime was based on two elements. The Persian element and the Islamic element. The Islamic clergy was always consulted by the Shah even there had been clashes between the Shah regime and the clergy element under certain periods.

The Islamic revolution was a combination of Islamic elements and Azeri Turk elements in Iran. The Islamic element grow weaker during the lifetime of the regime and the Azeri Turk element took a more dominant position. The Pan Turk elements took the power beginning with President Khatamis presidency and their Pan Turk agenda became more agressive during President Ahmadinejad term.

President Ahmadinejad regime is a Pan Turk tribal regime and it is managed on tribal ethnic lines. President Ahmadinejad regime's main agenda is to eliminate the Islamic elements within the state. In other words eliminate Ayatollah Khamnei Islamic faction from the state.

In order to eliminate the Islamic element from the state, it is necessary to replace Islam with another ideology. Persian history and culture provides this ideology. The only problem with that is President Ahmadinejad base of power is Azeri Turks. From Tehran's bazar to military and security forces and revolutionary gaurds and Baseej and Hezbollah, Azeri Turks are the most loyal elements to President Ahmadinejad.

Persians are on the contrary are part of Islamic faction although they play a very minor role in that faction too as Islamic faction is also dominated by Islamist Azeris such as Ayatollah Khamnei who himself is an Azeri.

Due to history and political conditions in Iran, it is not possible to declare Azeri Turks and their culture, language, and history the dominant ideology in Iran which is the case in Turkey.

To resolve this problem, Pan Turks in Iran have chosen another way. That is to redefine who is Persian and who is Azeri Turks. The Pan Turk regime in Tehran calls Persians for Azeri Turks and calls Azeri Turks for Persians. In this scheme President Ahmadinejad, an Azeri Turk is called "Persian" and Farrah Pahlavi, the wife of former Shah of Iran, a Persian from Mazandaran is called an Azeri Turk!!!!

Western mass media and Hollywood have also rushed to help Pan Turks by producing movies showing Persians as Azeri Turks. Movies such as "Alexander" by Oliver Stone and "Cyrus the Great" by Mr. Cyrus Kar shows Azeri Turk looking people and calls them "Persians".

In reality Persians are related to Bactrians in Afghanistan and do not look like Azeri Turks who have Oghuz Turk origin. Azeri Turks phenotypes could also be found in Turkey as a significant portion of the population in Turkey are really Turks together with other elements who are Turkish speakers. Also Azeri Turks are related to Azeri Turks in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
